Privacy Policy
Effective September 24, 2026
This policy describes how Stabletown LLC ("Stabletown," "we," or "us") handles information collected through stabletown.xyz and the public tools available on this website. It does not govern a future customer deployment or a third party's service under a separate agreement.
Information you provide
We collect information you choose to submit through our forms and tools, which may include your name, email address, organization, role, phone number, and information about a community, program, project, sponsor, merchant network, financing need, or other use case. This includes answers entered in the Stabletown Diagnostic, Local Dollars Builder, pilot or readiness intake, and similar planning tools. In the Local Dollars Builder, answers remain in your browser while you build anonymously. We receive the Builder answers when you choose to save, email, or submit the plan. If you subscribe to Stabletown Papers, we collect the email address you provide.
Website, analytics, and attribution data
Our hosting and analytics providers may process ordinary technical and usage data associated with requests to the site, such as pages viewed, referring pages, browser or device information, request timing, IP address, and coarse location derived from IP address. Stabletown also preserves inbound campaign parameters such as UTM source, medium, and campaign in your browser's session storage when they are present. The Local Dollars Builder also uses first-party browser storage to preserve an anonymous draft and a random planning-session identifier so you can continue the same plan. Builder analytics record funnel events such as starting, completing a step, or completing the tool; Stabletown does not send the text of anonymous Builder answers as analytics event properties. This storage and attribution are used to preserve your planning context and are not designed as cross-site advertising tracking.
How we use information
We use information to respond to requests, route a planning or readiness inquiry, deliver materials you ask for, administer or follow up on services you purchase, operate and secure the site, understand which pages and campaigns are useful, improve our product and planning tools, and send Stabletown Papers or other communications you requested. Asking us to deliver or save a Builder plan does not by itself opt you into marketing follow-up; where the Builder presents a separate follow-up checkbox, we use that choice as the follow-up permission signal. We may use aggregated or de-identified program-design information to improve templates, product design, and research. We do not sell personal information.
Service providers and connected systems
We use service providers to operate the website and related workflows. These may include Vercel for hosting and website analytics, Resend for email delivery, HubSpot for customer-relationship and commercial workflow records, Calendly for scheduling, and Stripe for third-party checkout of certain Stabletown services. When configured, an identified Builder save or pilot/readiness submission is first recorded in Stabletown's product backend and may then be projected into HubSpot so Stabletown can maintain the relationship and avoid losing context between planning and follow-up. A Builder save without follow-up consent is not treated by this projection as permission for marketing outreach. Demonstration or Field Lab features may call a separate Stabletown API when explicitly enabled. Providers receive information needed to perform their function and process it under their own terms and privacy practices.
When you use a Stripe-hosted checkout, payment-card details are handled by Stripe; Stabletown does not receive your full card number through this website. When you open an external scheduling, payment, or other provider page, that provider's privacy policy applies to information collected there.
What this website does not collect as a financial intermediary
The public website is not a bank, wallet custodian, securities account, or repository for customer deposits. It does not collect custody credentials, private keys, or securities-account credentials as part of the marketing, Builder, Diagnostic, or Workshop flows. Any future production deployment that involves regulated financial data or provider accounts is governed by the applicable product, provider, and customer agreements rather than by an implication from this website policy.
Retention and your choices
We retain submissions and business records for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, contractual or legal obligations, security, and legitimate business records. Browser session attribution is designed to expire with the browser session. A Builder draft may remain in first-party browser storage so the same browser can resume it; clearing site data removes that local copy. Once you explicitly save or submit a Builder plan, the submitted copy may be retained as a business intake record under the purposes above. You can unsubscribe from marketing or publication emails using the link in those messages. You may also ask us to access, correct, or delete information you provided, subject to legal and recordkeeping requirements, by emailing info@stabletown.xyz.
Security and children
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the website, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. Stabletown's business and public-sector website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly seek personal information from them through these public forms.
Changes
We may update this policy as the website, product, providers, or legal requirements change. We will post the current version here and revise the effective date above.
